The bill comes nearly four years after a Jefferson Davis statue was removed from the ornate Capitol Rotunda — a popular place for rallies when the legislature is in Session.

Democratic Rep. Tina Bojanowski said she sees the bill as ‘a way to push prayer into public schools,’ adding that it raises constitutional concerns.
‘The older I get, the more interested I’m getting into local issues, just trying to make Fern Creek and the city of Louisville a better place to live.’
