A federal judge in Memphis ruled that Tennessee’s so-called anti-drag show law was unconstitutionally vague and substantially overbroad, and encouraged discriminatory enforcement.
The lawsuit argues that the new law could ensnare television, movies and websites as well as all kinds of performances in addition to drag shows.
