If districts teach the course under the introductory code, students won’t get the extra credit that an AP course carries when the Georgia Student Finance Commission calculates grades to determine whether a student is eligible for Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship.
That reversal did little to stem the pushback to Richard Woods’ earlier refusal.
The theory is not a fixture of K-12 education, and Arkansas’ ban does not define what would be considered critical race theory.
Shad White said the state should cut taxpayer funding for programs in the social sciences, humanities and arts that aren’t advantageous for the state’s economy.
