National law firm Shumaker has tapped Mark Usellis to be its Chief Growth and Strategy Officer.
A top strategist, Usellis will work with leaders throughout the firm to position Shumaker for long-term, sustainable success.

Mark will also bring new and innovative ideas to capture growth opportunities and help our clients achieve even greater success.”
Usellis has more than 20 years of experience working with law firms, including in positions such as Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Strategy Officer and as a consultant.
He also spent 13 years in public affairs as a legislative director on Capitol Hill; as a public affairs director for a large telecommunications company; and as a consultant for a global public affairs firm.
Most recently, Usellis served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer for an international reforestation non-governmental organization, which he helped lead through a leadership and business model transition.

The firm has hired a director of associate recruitment and several teams of new attorneys, in addition to growing office space in Tampa and expanding in Charleston.
